American Bass, Daniel Glaudel, is now coming into his own in today's opera scene. Daniel has portrayed over  fifty  leading roles from the operatic repertoire, where the critics  are  hailing  him  for his incredible  voice  and  intense  character  portrayals.
Daniel Glaudel simply "commands the stage with his presence" with "musical and dramatic integrity". The Bass Baritone has performed with such opera companies and orchestras as The Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra, Opera Seabrook, Opera Philadelphia (plan artist/cover), The Jackson Symphony (MI), State Repertory Opera of New Jersey, Elysium Opera, The  Ambler Symphony, Masterworks Orchestra of New Jersey, Pennsylvania Lyric Opera Theater, The Harrisburg Symphony, Pacific Northwest Wagner Festival (soli), The Atlantic Coast Opera Festival, The Lansdowne Symphony, The Wagner Project, The Olney Symphony, Lancaster Opera, Opera Northeast, South Jersey Orchestra, Hidden Valley Opera (CA), The Chestnut Hill Orchestra and The Bay Atlantic Symphony  in such leading roles as Zaccaria from Nabucco,  Don Silva from Ernani, Sparafucilefrom Rigoletto,  Ramfis from Äida, Mephistophêles from Faust, Padre Guardianofrom La Forza del Destino, Don Basilio from Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Raimondo from  Lucia di Lammermoor, Banco from Macbeth, Ferrandofrom Il Trovatore, Colline from La Bohéme, Grand Inquisitor from Don Carlo, Rocco from Fidelio, Lodovicofrom Otello, Commendatore from Don Giovanni, Osminfrom Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Fafnerfrom Siegfried,  Dalandfrom Der Fliegende Holländer, Gesslerfrom Guillaume Tell, and bothHundingandWotan from Die Walküre.
The Bass Baritone performed the title role in the world premier of Louis Scarmolin's The Caliph and Duca D'Arcosin theNorth American premier of Salvator Rosa (Gomes).

As an orchestral soloist  Mr. Glaudel has performed works by Bach- St. Matthew Passion, b minor Mass, Magnificat, St. John Passion and Christmas Oratorio;  Handel- Messiah, Judas Maccabeus, St. John Passion; Beethoven- Symphony #9 and Choral Fantasy; Haydn- Lord Nelson Mass, The Creation and The Seasons; Mozart- Requiem and Coronation Mass;  Dvorak- Stabat Mater; Mussorgski- Night On Bald Mountain; Vaughn- Williams- Serenade To Music;  Rossini- Stabat Mater; Schubert- Mass in G and the world premier of Andrea Clearfield's Nes Gadol Hayah Sham and Samuel Adler's Ever Since Babylon.

"Dominating on stage was bass Daniel Glaudel as the Rev. Olin Blitch. Mr. Glaudel's big scenes carried
an emotional and vocal intensity which earned him cheers. His voice was big and expressive, his physical and acting  ability equally so. Most important, we believed in Blitch's  sincerity as he never turned into a venal character."    (Susannah)                                                                    Newark Star Ledger

"Bass Daniel Glaudel was Juliétte's  father, Capulet. His is a vocal presence which can dominate. But
he had the musical and dramatic integrity to back off when necessary. A noble and sympathetic uncle
whose eloquence at Tybalt's death was moving."  (Romeo et Juliétte)                         Newark Star Ledger

"Good moments were the vocal pleasures of Daniel Glaudel, a splendid Rocco."    (Fidelio)
                                                                                                                                                  Philadelphia Forum

"Bass Daniel Glaudel acquitted himself admirably, almost transcendent."
(Vaughn-Williams-Serenade to Music)                                                                            Atlantic City Press

"Daniel Glaudel sounded every bit the Verdi bass but brought Hans Sach's depth of character to
Haroun -al  Rachid, the Caliph."  (World Premier The Caliph (Scarmolin)                Newark Star Ledger
