"Voice is nectar of spring growing from a soul"

Pattricia Stella Patino, Colombian Coloratura Soprano, covered the role of Gilda in Opera Tampa’s 2015 production of Rigoletto with Maestro Daniel Lipton. Other recent performances included concerts in all South Jersey areas as well as in Bogotá, Colombia. The Coloratura Soprano earned her fame early on at the young age of 15 performing Salsa, Soft Rock, and Traditional Latin Music in the large concert venues, stadiums and coliseums of South America. With the influence of her father, Guillermo Patiño-Valencia and his international operatic and concert career, Ms. Patiño revealed her great talent for the operatic stage singing superbly in the Coloratura Soprano repertoire in roles such as Gilda in Verdi’s Rigoletto, the title role in Floyd’s Susannah, Norina in Donizetti’s Don Pasquale, and the title role in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor with The Atlantic Coast Opera Festival in Philadelphia, and Opera Seabrook in South Jersey. Pattricia Stella represented the Philadelphia Orchestra singing lyrical music from Latin American composers in one of its concert cycles with Maestro Christopher Eshenbach and Maestro Luis Biava. Ms. Patiño also performed the Midinettes in Puccini´s Il tabarro with Opera North, and The First Spirit in Mozart´s Die Zauberflöte at the Academy of Vocal Arts - AVA with Maestro Christofer MacatsorisAnother wonderful and remarkable influence in Pattricia Stella Patiño music and artistic development comes from Colombian soprano Emperatríz Figueroa and concert pianist Patricia Perez-Hood. These two Maestras gave to Ms. Patiño an important support and musical mentoring to boost her singing career into opera.
Pattricia Stella Patiño holds a BM and Artists degree in Vocal Performance and Music Education from the Universidad del Valle in her hometown of Cali, Colombia – South America.
Ms. Patiño is a student of internationally renowned operatic baritone Robert McFarland.
